Deerest

Every day at dawn and dusk, the deer arrive. And now that the weather is warming up, the babies are here too.

They tottle around on their spindly legs; unsure, a little unsteady, and for now wildly out of proportion with their little speckled bodies.

They are not yet used to us humans, so they bounce and boing along after their Mamas like Pepe Le Piu would do, whenever we disturb their clover munching.
