Hiding Out

This was me on Sunday, hiding out under my cardigan, draped over my laptop to protect from the glare of the sun... oh, and some more new glasses! Raspberry red ones this time, just 'cos :p

Sunday Sun

It's been pretty quiet in my world this week; the constant rain we've had lately has made me hunker down and semi hibernate. But then today? Be-eautiful. We've had painters around at our place for the last wee while, so I've staked out a spot on their scaffolding and that's me. Got my computer, got my guitar, got my coke and a soft spot to doze in the warm sun. Best Sunday in a long time. Hope it's glorious wherever you are too!

While The Sun Shines

I had big plans to head back into work today, (though we don't officially start back until tomorrow) ... however I peeked my head out from under the covers at 5.30 this morning to see the beginnings of a super glorious day and I thought, nah! So instead my sister and I decided to muck around with the camera down the back of our house.

It's funny how you spend ages trying to get 'nice' photos, and then your favourites often tend to be the 'in betweens' and the 'out-takes'.

These Days

These days when it's as hot as this, there isn't much to do except swim. So today, we did. Some friends have come to visit from Calgary and Switzerland, so we made the most of the heat and the company and headed out to where it was coolest - the middle of the ocean!

Ta Ta

I'm off to the beach for the long weekend, for a bit of...well... this... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz hehehe.
