Shark Doodles

Love in the Funniest Places


While wandering back to the office yesterday after getting some lunch, I found myself walking behind a man who had unsuspectingly sat on a piece of red thread, and it was stuck to his bum forming the shape of a heart. It looked something like this. Unfortunate for him, quite possibly. Highly amusing for myself? Most definitely.

Many years ago, aged 8, while struggling to draw a paua shell, my art teacher said, 'Draw what you see, not what you know.' So yesterday, in the bath, I did just that.

Oh I've just rediscovered an old sketch from about a year ago. I drew this sitting on the edge of the cliffs at Greenhead, WA. Now if only I was any good at watercolour I think that would top this off. Failing that, I might have a go with some acrylics...

Doodles 'n' drawings

These are a couple of doodles from the past couple of days - I don't usually draw characters as such, but this little girl sorta, popped onto the page, so I ran with it. I think she looks a bit sad... maybe I'll doodle her a friend!
