Problem is, like all nice stationary I acquire, it's all so nice I'm always too scared to use it, and so it just sits on my shelf where I can gaze at it longingly... the thought of tarnishing the smooth, crisp smelling pages with my scrawly hand writing makes my stomach turn!

I know exactly what you mean. New stationery anxiety! I get that with new journals and diaries. What will I write? But more importantly, will my handwriting look ok? Haha!
