Fantastic tips!

I like the 'shake to compact' idea and never thought of taking detergent to clean clothes in the sink, that's brilliant :)

Thank you!Nikkihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05813375205411574817noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8893242185671085783.post-20570453885768539112010-01-26T20:25:09.607+13:002010-01-26T20:25:09.607+13:00Yeah, rolling does help space-wise and sometimes a...Yeah, rolling does help space-wise and sometimes also with wrinkling. You'll get _really_ good at packing as you go though, everything has its place and it gets very efficient. I also like to put in as much as I can, then zip up the pack and give it a good shake up and down which compacts stuff nicely, leaving some room at the top for other things. For travelling the rule of thumb is only take half as many clothes as you think you'll need and twice as much money. Pack a travellers clothes line and detergent and wash stuff in sinks - that way you don't need to take as many undies or pants. Wedge undies and socks into shoes or anything else with empty space inside. That also helps shoes keep their shape. Make sure you handle your carry-on like it's feather light, even when it weighs 10kg.Jacquihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01192730590127098720noreply@blogger.com
